Tired after a long day of hiking, two best friends Kendra and Jen are on a lookout for a place to stay for the night. On the advice of a passing driver, the girls end up in a cosy looking guest house located deep in the woods. It's not long after they had settled in their room that strange, unexplainable events begin to happen. The girls soon realize that a dark secret was hidden deep within the walls of the house...
The Eerie Inn is a mystery, puzzle-solving horror game with a strong emphasis on the narrative. You play as one of the girls and your mission is to find out the truth behind the mysterious things happening inside the guest house.
You can move freely around the house and explore the different rooms in it. Even during the day, you will see strange scary things occurring and sense a malignant presence within the walls of the house. But it's not until the nightfall after everyone has gone to sleep, that you will finally find out what really happened in that place. All you need is the bravery to traverse the dark corridors of the house with no one around to keep you company. No one alive at least...
This is not a simple "find a key to open this door" game. Along the way to uncovering the truth behind the guest house, you will be challenged with interesting puzzles, and the captivating storyline will keep you hooked right until the very end of the game!

The Eerie Inn is a short thriller walking simulator that takes place inside an...Eerie Inn! The gameplay involves watching cutscenes, finding keys, and solving a few minor puzzles. The whole experience feels like a tiny "B Movie". The whole game takes approximately 45 minutes to complete. + The game is polished and runs well. + There is real voice acting and it is surprisingly very well done. + The graphics and atmosphere are nice and simple, yet it just works nicely for some reason. + The story is interesting, and the ending is an awesome twist I didn't see coming. - Your character walks very slow, there is no run button. - The whole game is a bit simple and casual, not for people looking for a huge challenge, huge scares, lots of gore, horror etc... what an incredible gem !! i seriously cannot believe that this hasn't got more reviews. incredibly funny with some good jump scares and twists to the plot. short and to the point - it doesn't overstay its welcome. some may wince at the price, but i'm an adult and i have some money for leisure. this game earned it. there is a little jank to some of the interactions - for example, if you pick up items before you need them, you'll still need to exit the room where you're tasked to find them and come back - but this small bump in the road aside, i cannot speak highly enough of this game. the voice acting is spot-on. it's humorous without really feeling like it's trying too hard. there's a natural sense of B-horror movie schlock that is popularly sought but rarely delivered upon, and it absolutely lands here. since it came out in 2018, i can only imagine it flew under the radar before the streaming boom of the 2020s, but i hope it gets more attention - it absolutely deserves its place in the classics of cheesy horror story games. please, please, please buy this game, support these developers, and have a good time. i know i did :33 found this helpful

The absolute best horror game ive every played, ive literally shat and also pissed my ass, absolutely incredible.
It was pretty cool until I clipped out of the elevator into nowhere.
