Uninstalled when I saw the AI background :/

Yup, the usual time ignoring (doesn't calculate offline), 'you have to click me' 'game'. Trash.

The Endless Village is a small idle city builder that I can play without having to put a huge amount of effort into it. I start with a tiny village, click to make resources and then use what I earn to unlock upgrades that slowly make everything run by itself. The main goal is building the village into a bigger and more lively place, with the Liveliness stat being the main thing I am trying to increase. It is a very simple idea, but I like games where I can make a little progress, leave them alone for a while and then come back to see how much has changed. The fact that the whole thing is free also makes it easy to get into. The progression is probably the best part for me. At the start I am clicking quite a lot, but after buying enough upgrades I can rely more on passive income and spend my time deciding what upgrade makes the biggest difference next. Watching the numbers grow faster and faster is satisfying in the same way I enjoy other idle games. I also like that I am not just building random buildings for no reason. The village gradually becomes more developed and the goal is tied to making it feel more lively, so there is at least some sense of direction behind all the upgrad…

The one thing that annoys me most about this game is this: If you shut down your computer and don't close the games window or click on "quit" you whole progress since you started the game is lost. Not just a few minutes, this can mean literally hours of real time. Now about the game itself: It's one of those idlers that become boring after some time because you can sometimes wait for an hour or more until you can purchase another object and the game will only render points while it's running on your computer.
