Nonogram! I love Nonograms. Nonogram is also known as Picross. And after a hard Day work, nothing is better then a chilling Puzzle Game. So... ...welcome to THE FAR KINGDOMS: MAGIC MOSAICS! THE FAR KINGDOMS is a Gaming Series with different Kind of Gaming Genres. Mostly Solitaire Games, but also Hidden Object Games and in this kind a Nonogram Game. So let´s have look at it. In Nonogram or Picross you have a field of empty Squares. You have to combine the Numbers above and on the left side to find aus which squares need to be marked to solve the Puzzle. While most Nonogram Games have one area, MAGIC MOSAICS has 3 areas parted in 3 Colours. Together they form the Picture. This gives you more opportunities to solve it. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3162791297 You can make mistakes, but that is limited. Too much mistakes, you loose and you have to start over again, so think before clicking. Solving them gives you also gold. With the gold you can upgrade a Kingdom. That brings us to the Story of the Game. 4 Runes needs to be refilled to protect the Kingdoms. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3162790805 The Graphics are very nice and t…

The Far Kingdoms: Magic Mosaics is a mobile-app tier Nonogram puzzle from HH-Games, who normally make a living charging money for free iPhone games that they dump on Steam as cash grabs. Gameplay is your standard mix of Minecraft and Sudoku number deduction as you're given numerical hints on how many squares in a grid have a "mine" in them and which ones don't. Deducing the right squares will reveal a simple, blocky, pixellated picture. While I couldn't find The Far Kingdoms: Magic Mosaics on the mobile phone app stores, it has all the qualities of a mobile app, and as far as PC ports go, it's woeful, with locked resolution, static 2D imagery and shallow, mobile phone tier gameplay. They're charging a ludicrous $5 USD for this, and considering you can play as many Nonogram puzzles as you want free on the web and on mobile phones, it's impossible to recommend this to PC gamers.

I hate to use the down thumb for a game, I'd rather not comment on it, but I love nonograms, and this game's nonograms aren't properly built at all. The mechanism of treating the colors separately in interesting, but many times I ended up having to click on cases blindly because there were too many possible solutions for the hints given. For me a nonogram should always be completable with pure logic, but it isn't the case here. Several became pure guesswork. Rather than separating all the colors, they would've been better off treating all the colors together with multicolored numbers. The guesswork could perhaps have been avoided like that. So, if you love nonograms and don't mind doing complete guesswork at times, go ahead, but if you don't like that idea, better stay away. But there are many much better nonogram games out there, with much better graphics, too, so I wouldn't recommend wasting time on this one.

https://youtu.be/_k8csAkEjCw Forcing players to make guesses is not a strong element of puzzle games and this multi-color structure pushes that far too much.

I have played a lot of "Mosaic" games. This is the easiest of all. There are only three colors, and the puzzles are pretty basic. But it is still entertaining and takes a few hours.
