✦ AI summary

Mosaics Galore 2 is a relaxing jigsaw puzzle game with pleasant aesthetics, atmospheric sound design, and engaging gameplay that improves upon the first game's mechanics. However, players find the timer-based challenges in later levels frustratingly tight and unforgiving, requiring either perfect play or spending accumulated points for additional time, which can diminish the casual appeal for some players.

The game's basically a jigsaw game, where you go through different locales as you get better with the jigsaws. Casual mode lets you relax, while the normal mode sets you on timer, where you're not allowed even single mistake if you want to have all 3 keys from the level. The hint system is clear, and if you're in for in-game achievements, is mandatory. The timer, on the other hand, can be rather unforgiving, especially when you don't really get any kind of preview of the mosaic. Unless you go back to level selection every single time. The music is relaxing and I personally love the different sound effects the locales have. One moment you hear as if you are shifting through cardboard sheets, while next moment you're moving slabs of stone. The images are pretty to look at and somewhat inspiring at times. Only gripe I do have is sometimes the pieces are easily placed if you guesstimate its location, shifting pretty well to where they are supposed to be, even if you're bit more off and not precisely close... and other times you are very close, but game counts it as bad placement. This inconsistency was rather jarring, sometimes even frustrating when it is last piece you're placing i…

Mosaics Galore 2 is a sequel, as the name implies. This is a better game than its predecessor. I wrote about the later in more detail in the previous review. I will repeat some of my issues shortly. One of the problems it fixes is the way you move the piece from your bank to the board. Now, you are not likely to accidentally drop it on the board and lose one of the three stars for the game. It seems that the game also allows more time, but I am not sure. It just seemed to go more smoothly and was more enjoyable than the first one. Here are some characteristics that may still be bothersome: 1) The time they allot is unrealistically short for most of the games that come after the first set. You can buy more time with the points you may have accumulated, if you have enough. Alternatively, you can play the same game several times, remembering where some of the more difficult pieces go. 2) The start puts a random set of puzzle pieces on the board and another set for you to play with. If you re-start the game several times, you will find that some initial conditions are much easier to solve the puzzle with, than others. 3) Perhaps the most egregious issue is that, many times…

I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of y…
