About The First Class VR

The First Class VR is an interactive experience that recreates historical moments of innovation throughout mankind's journey of air and space exploration. Utilizing state of the art VR interactive gameplay, you will experience humanity's journey to the stars – from the Wright brother's legendary first flight to the development of SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket, and beyond to a technologically advanced distant future.

Our original design intention was to create the most immersive and lifelike environment possible by pushing the limits of virtual reality. We want to put players into those great moments that define human aviation history.

The First Class pushes modern VR technologies to pay tribute to human innovation and historic scientific advancements. Our story was inspired by the Hugo Awards Best Novel Winner "The Three-Body Problem", and we are very privileged to have had the author, Cixin Liu, both play and praise the finished game.

Its pretty cool showcase of history of aviation, but currently it just crashes on startup, and does not work (tho with last update in early 2018 its kinda amazing for how long it worked ok)

Not very good, it's starts off looking promising when you're in the introduction area but soon goes downhill. The textures are of yucky low quality, something you'd expect to see on mobile vr, not on a rift. Soon into the experience you're on a helicopter flying through a cave with various iconic avaiation things floating in the cave, it was just ridiculous, not helped by the very low textures. Now I know it's about the history of flight, but it would have been better had it been set inside a museum and being sat on ride. Once the ride ends, you're free to teleport along the sea looking at aviation history and reading about it, the reading was the most interesting part of this, the walking on sea was another silly idea, why the sea, why not make a museum, it all came across as cheap and half arsed effort imo, there were a couple of nice moments near the beginning but it was far outweighed with by all the negatives, quite disappointing, refunded.

Unfortunately the game did not start when using SteamVR. It crashes on startup. It gives a LowLevel Fatal Error. Without SteamVR the game did start but was unresponsive. I tried a lot of stuff people with similar errors (but other games) tried online but it did not work. Most of the reviews on this game are more than 8 years old. Mad_Bert is the of the most recent people who placed a review in 2025 and seems to encounter the same problem of the game crashing on startup. Do not buy this game. It does not work anymore

I thought that was pretty cool. I dont judge cost / time so if you are a tight wad you might have a different opinion. But for what it was, i got a kick out of it. Slightly interactive (a few spots in the tour and then at the end) - basically a tour of an Air & Space mixed with a bit of future sci-fi and instead of in a museum its in a bunch of interesting VR environments. Most the real education can be at the end when you have control to do a (long) walking tour of the things you saw, get closer and hit info buttons. If you are prone to motion sickness, this will probably make you vomit so make sure you take out the barf bag from the back of the seat in front of you. Forced motion and turning in spots. I dont get motion sickness and even I got a bit dizzy. Enjoyably so...but probably not if i barfed on my computer. I dont think you need roomscale but it feels like it at a few spots. If you wait, they move closer though. And make sure you actually select English. It looks like it is lit up, but it defaults to...whatever that is. Chinese? I guessed the top blue button when i called up the menu and it took me back to the start so i could reselect language.

I really liked it! Especially the sense of real size of the objects, it gives you a whole perspective of that. Regarding accesibility, the game can be played sitting down but you'll need to turn around and sometimes reach out objects. You also need both controllers to go through it, and at some point you need to swing your arms to fly (which you obviously can't do with just one hand) but I found out that you can trigger the movement by getting the wings pointing down together (or maybe it's just a matter of time). VR accessibility score ----------------------- One-handed = 9/10 Wheelchair = 9/10
