About The Flame in the Flood
Navigate a procedurally-generated river through a decaying American wilderness, scrounging for resources, crafting survival gear, and evading deadly predators while racing ahead of catastrophic storms. This rogue-like survival adventure from the creative minds behind BioShock delivers tense, intimate exploration where every decision about what to craft, where to rest, and when to move could mean life or death.
From the Art Director of BioShock and a team of veterans of the BioShock, Halo, Guitar Hero and Rock Band series comes The Flame in the Flood.
Travel by foot and by raft down a procedurally-generated river as you scrounge for resources, craft tools, remedy afflictions, evade the vicious wildlife, and most importantly, stay ahead of the coming rains.

It's charming and the music is great (tho the UI is pretty terrible), but there's really nothing to ground you in this game. After about twenty minutes I just stopped caring. I don't need a deep story, but an attempt to invest the player in this world other than a simple "here ya go" would've been nice.3 found this helpful
It is not possible to change the movement keys. That's a shame.1 found this helpful
This game was surprisingly fun and simple once you figure out the mechanics. It has Don't Starve elements and the music is great. It can be difficult at times, but when you know what to do and triumph, it is fun and rewarding, especially when you reach the end.
I didn't enjoy the system in this game.
