That was a big surprise! Gripping story, 3D action adventure, antiquity, about 7 hours playtime...I can´t say more due to spoilers, so just try it!
This had been on my radar for some time and I had an itch for some Greco-Roman myth and story and remembered that this was out there. I'm glad I finally got around to playing it. It was more engaging than I expected. Enjoyable story and gameplay and not too long or too short. I also loved the time loop mechanic. Reminded me of games like The Outer Wilds. Can't say I've played many games that use that sort of mechanic. The consultation with actual historians for historical accuracy was also very appreciated. Overall a very good game with interesting characters, writing, visuals and mechanics. If you're at all interested in time loop games or Greco-Roman settings and stories then I highly suggest giving this a shot.
Great Story!
I really liked the story and setting of The Forgotten City, as well as investigating the mystery behind what exactly was going on here. My only criticism is that the game is a bit janky when it comes to combat (which I find the least fun part of the game) as well as the noticeable loading windows when switching to other areas of the map. Besides that though, if you like a story/conversation heavy mystery game placed in a classical setting and referencing the ancient gods, this game is probably for you.
Amazing game seemed overwhelming at first but in first 2 hours is gets really understandable, Honestly once i got hooked in first 30 mins i couldnt put it down completed the game and all 4 ending and bonus ending in a day It was so compelling! and yes i did throughly explore im missing around 10 achievments only so id say 10 to 12 hrs is realistic for full completion of this game. Dialouge and exploration feels really natural almost like real life the way conversation goes imo just follow the game / narrative where it takes you and check quest log often if new objectives pop up as you meet people charming gaming lots of passion and dedication in this game loved it 100% worth the price
