The Gallery - A Riley Magras Exhibit is an amazing art exhibition of a game. It is a interesting concept that works very well. I had never heard of Riley Magras but there is a link and I will also be reading up on the artist some more later on my own. The art varies stylistically to an extent but I liked it all and some pieces really spoke to me. I enjoyed wandering around the gallery all by myself and being able to experience the art on my terms and at my own pace because I had the entire place to myself. That being said, you could easily experience it all with an important someone by simply sitting together at your screen. There is also a novel aspect to the game, which surprised me as I had not looked through the game description that closely and assumed it was just a simpler gallery experience. I will let other people be potentially be surprised by it, too. I was awestruck when it happened to me though and it offered another beautiful way to experience the art. The music is lovely with a nice selection to choose depending on your mood. I highly recommend The Gallery - A Riley Magras Exhibit and I will be going back for more.

Instead of being a game, "The Gallery - A Riley Magras Exhibit" is a software application that presents a poorly made art exhibition from Riley Magras. Who is that, you ask? Nobody, is the correct answer. So what are they doing polluting Steam with non-game garbage art nobody wanted? We can thank Steam Direct for that. What a waste of $100. We get this non-game shovelware on Steam whenever your usual Starbucks barista/McDonalds frycook art school dropout finally gets a restraining order from the local art galleries so turns to Steam Direct to try get their art published somewhere so they can finally dream of moving out of their parents basement. It's true that games can be art... art is where the pinnacles of craftsmanship and quality meet vision and narrative to create an experience far greater than the sum of the parts.
