The content doesn’t justify the price. I finished the game in about 30 minutes (and even read an email in between). I completed it before I could even decide whether I liked it or not. After finishing, you unlock New Game+, which lets you skip almost everything -- that run takes about 5 minutes and provides no challange whatsoever. The team seems to care about fairness and kindness, according to their website, but the price for this short experience feels a bit greedy and the description is misleading advertising:

Jumping, puzzling and sliding levels = OK
5 chapters with multiple levels = No. Those are actually just 5 levels.
collecting fun = You collect 15 presents that lie along your path anyway. That's not "collecting fun".
Speed run option = Debatable, but OK.
Interesting color development through new feelings = Ok, though it's so subtle that you barely notice it (and there is no explanation as to why this happens). Instead of this feature, more levels would be much more valuble. Wasted potential.
Side Scroller = Not a feature but a genre -- and this is already covered by the 1st point. Apparently, they …

The Heart of the Teddy Bear, developed by Abenteuerpakete and published by Daedalic Entertainment, is a gentle, emotionally guided platformer that transforms a simple premise into a small but meaningful journey. The story begins with a teddy bear falling from Santa’s sleigh and landing alone in a bleak, wintery forest. From the very first moment, the game establishes a tone of quiet melancholy: a soft, snow-covered world, nearly devoid of life, where the little bear must find his way toward the child he was meant for. This setup, though modest, becomes the foundation for a narrative about purpose, longing, and the slow rekindling of warmth in a cold world. As you guide the teddy bear through the frozen landscape, the game’s strength lies in how it uses atmosphere rather than dialogue to communicate emotion. Each new area reflects the bear’s internal evolution. Early levels are dominated by cold grays and whites, creating a sense of isolation, but as the bear encounters new feelings—hope, kindness, joy—the environments subtly shift, taking on richer colors and livelier textures. The world seems to brighten in response to the bear’s emotional growth, allowing players to experience t…

I mean, sure? As soon as the game ended I legit said, "Well, that happened" because it's not like this is striking or memorable. It's sweet, to be sure, and pretty intuitive. A little bit "baby's first side-scrolling platformer," honestly. The music's a bit grating and I have no idea how they came up with the storylines for the emotions because those make no sense, but it was a nice little half-hour diversion. If you have a little 'un who's getting into gaming, you could do worse than this.

A small platformer that can be completed within 30 minutes without trying. The platforming is very basic and the game as a whole is not amazing. It does however function without issues, the premise is sweet with an unexpected ending and new game plus unlocks something cool that allows you to get the speedrunning achievement without issues, in case you were worried about it. The rest of the achievements come naturally and one requires finding 15 presents. This is the kind of game to play when you want to go through the motions without thinking too much about it. And it’s an easy game to get 100% achievement with, it took me 48 minutes. The normal price of €6 is too much, but €1 is okay. Sometimes you feel like playing a small game when you’re tired and you want to complete it in one evening. This one fits the bill.

A nice little 2D Xmas game. My spouse wanted a nice xmas game to cast on Tv. It took me 54 minutes to beat. My spouse liked the simple christmasy graphics, simple music, and the brief story.
