Sooo So SO SO peak. Story was BEAUTIFUL and loved the references in the game. Putting things down was a little hard but aside from that I found the gameplay fun. I will definitely play it again and get all endings and journals/notes. Recommending to my friend watching through my window rn.1 found this helpful
It's just absolutely peak in some of the greatest ways possible.
i been loving everything of this game for the few hours i had played so far, though i have noticed that 85% of the areas render or run for me with very little issues and certain spots like the statue room or samantha's space only load in halfway or not at all with howard's ui/oil supply unaffected regardless of this.i definitely recommend that everyone check out this game at least once even if not a huge horror fan and suggest it to others
This game accomplishes everything it sets out to do perfectly! The art style could not be more accurate to what inspired it. From start to finish, I was impressed by the character designs. Especially the shopkeeper; he was so fun to visit. Even something as simple as a spiders-web is depicted in such a creative way. Writing-wise, you got yourself a cute little Lovecraft story here that's honestly pretty engaging. While I played, I was worried the constant rhyming would get old after a while; but it really really doesn't (it actually made me want to click on just about everything just to see how what rhymes it brought about). The only criticisms I would have for the game were the occassional bugs/jank I encountered; but reloading a save takes no time at all, so it's easy to overlook. I highly recommend playing it for yourself!
