Westmark Manor is a deliberately old-fashioned survival horror adventure that favors unsettling atmosphere, exploration, resource management, and elaborate puzzles over constant combat or scripted scares. I do not enjoy games where one of the gameplay elements is finding light sources which last 30 seconds. I picked it up in January, played 41 minutes and it's just been sitting installed since (it's August as I write this). That said, I believe I paid less than $10 for this, and I'd drop that on a beer without thinking. So I guess what I'm saying is this game is at least as good as a beer.

Frustratingly BUGGY. If you buy it, save frequently. It cost you vitals to save which makes the bugs even more infuriating! But, if you liked Resident Evil but hated the killing, you will probably enjoy the game. Just don't be surprised at the bad controls and bugs. Note: there are some timed events but nothing too difficult. I decided not to finish the game so this is based on 2.5 hours of play. I would only barely recommend at a deep discount.

what the hell am i suppose to do? i been running in circles for 2 hours, and i supposedly put the game on the easiest mode too. the quick travel tunnels seem to reset when i find the 3rd one every time. theres quite a bit of framiness happening and i got an extreme gamer pc. also often getting stuck on tiny corners.
