The Last Connection

I don't mind the artstyle. It's got it's own charm, and it reminds me of this other game with a similar look (and also premise now that I think about it): I Get This Call Every Day. I like all the little details as well when you're walking around in the town: kicking around bottles, leaves, and the soccer ball, making the cats meow/pur, and the bushes shake. The main trio of characters (Lin, Seth, and Mrs. Perkins) were pretty endearing and enjoyable. I personally didn't need a lot of convincing to try and help them out with their problems as best as I could. The rest of the cast don't have nearly as much going on, but that's fine. They're there to add more flavour and life to the town, and serve the main trio's storylines. The core premise resonated with me a great bit. Having only a few days left until you have to say goodbye to an important phase of your life (including some of the people that were a part of it) and trying to make the most of that remaining time hits close to home, even now. I wonder if the developers were feeling the same way when making the game. The biggest issue I have with the game is that it's pretty buggy. Some conversations seem to sometimes skip ov…

It's an interesting game exploring a bygone technology, the movement is sort of janky and the art is pretty funny, but I like how sweet the storyline and each of the character's individual plots are! This is a repetitive type of game where you'll have to restart Day 1 each time to gain a new puzzle piece and each of the endings. Also, really love the Ms. Perkins voice acting!!

Amazing game and storyline!

So I have only completed one ending but allow me to give some thoughts First off, yes it is definitely rough. Mic quality and animations are veryyyyyy subpar, but I can forgive that. It's very barebones in terms of gameplay and certainly not that engaging. Where I believe it makes up for these is in it's story. It's certainly not any Shakespeare play, very simple, but it has charm. Small town telephone operator trying to make one last final positive impact on the town is very sweet and did tug on my heart a bit. Characters have defined, if basic, personalities, and I enjoyed some of their interactions with each other. If there's anything I can say to the dev, keep trying! I'll be praying for you and your career! For a first attempt I see your potential

I really liked this short game! For the bonus pic though, I wish the player was with them. There is an empty chiar haha. But thank you for making this game. <3
