The stealth genre gets turned on its head in The Marvellous Miss Take – the only heist adventure that invites you to steal with style!

Break into 25 unique art galleries as three different thieves in search of the ultimate score, evading guards and using gadgets to get away with your priceless haul. Unlike other stealth games though, there’s no time for waiting in the shadows until the right moment! Wandering guards decide their patrol routes on the fly, security cameras keep watch over everything and even innocent gallery goers just visiting to admire the art might raise the alarm if they see something suspicious. Only quick wits and even quicker reflexes can help you grab the loot and escape unseen – there’s no option for violence and the clock is ticking!

Game features
 • Organised Chaos – More than your typical stealth game, The Marvellous Miss Take is a fluid, high-speed game of cat and mouse! Random guard patterns require players to think on their feet rather than hiding in the shadows, and one false move means escape can be snatched away from you in seconds.
 • Wits, Not Fists – Forget violence, takedowns or picking off guards one by one… distraction's the key to success here! Each stage stays tense from the first step to the last, so put your gadgets to good use to keep out of trouble and pilfer everything you can before someone spots you!
 • The Bigger Picture – Sneak into the 25 multi-floored galleries as one of three different characters, each of which has their own unique skills and goals. Can you escape safely with the maximum amount of loot and grab yourself a perfect ranking?
 • Artfully Accessible – Streamlined, intuitive mouse controls let you explore the colourful world of The Marvellous Miss Take with ease, making the exciting puzzle-cum-stealth action accessible to players of all ages and skills.
Take this take that Point & click heist game where you navigate using mouse only. Whistle to distract the guards and steal as much paintings as your bag can handle. Considering this is somewhat a puzzle game it's very basic. Guards act like apes trying to understand and process if they saw you or not. You can play games like this on a mobile devices. If you like punching games just play Mr. Shifty.
I got this game mostly for the art style, but it's also so much fun?? The controls are very satisfying on handheld gaming (MSI A1M, it says it's unsupported for Steam Deck so it might not work on Steam OS? idk how that works). I also didn't know it was from 2014, it feels more modern

Deceptively robust stealth game, albeit one that is marred by poor optimization.

It's just too basic to be any kind of fun. Maybe as someone's first stealth game POSSIBLY, but for anything else there are better options. The narrative also doesn't offer any hook on it's own, it¨s just basic justifying why the stealth happens, which would be fine if the stealth was better.

“The Marvellous Miss Take” is a refreshing and stylish twist on the stealth-heist formula, choosing charm, improvisation, and agility over the rigid, hyper-precise stealth conventions many players are used to. Developed and published by Wonderstruck, the game places you in the shoes of Sophia Take, a confident and determined art thief on a mission to reclaim her family’s stolen art collection. What begins as a simple revenge-heist premise gradually grows into a lively, puzzle-driven stealth adventure that prizes movement, unpredictability, and quick thinking. Rather than asking players to memorize strict guard patterns or crawl endlessly through shadows, the game encourages boldness and adaptability, resulting in a tone that feels more like a playful caper than a grim infiltration. The game’s core design philosophy becomes clear as soon as you enter the first few galleries. Movement is fast, fluid, and mouse-driven, emphasizing positioning and timing rather than slow, methodical creeping. Guards do not march along perfectly scripted routes; they wander dynamically, reacting to distractions and shifting paths frequently. This deliberate unpredictability forces you to constantly rea…
