Sneaky Sneaky is a charming stealth adventure that mixes tactical sneaking, exploration, light role-playing systems, and puzzle-oriented gameplay into a surprisingly enjoyable and accessible experience. Developed by Naiad Entertainment, the game takes a much lighter and more colorful approach to stealth compared to the darker tone commonly associated with the genre. Instead of focusing on realism or intense punishment, it presents stealth mechanics through a playful fantasy world filled with cartoon-style environments, quirky enemies, and a simple but satisfying progression system. Beneath its cheerful presentation lies a cleverly designed game built around careful planning, environmental awareness, and strategic decision-making. The story follows a small thief named Sneaky who successfully steals a collection of valuable rubies, only to immediately lose them after a giant bird swoops in and scatters the treasure across the kingdom. Sneaky Sneaky is a delightful, low-stakes stealth game that works perfectly as a 'pallet cleanser' between more demanding titles. The art style is absolutely fantastic—it's bright, polished, and full of personality. The core loop of sneaking through bushes and timing backstabs feels rewarding, and the switch to turn-based combat when you're spotted is a clever way to keep the game accessible for casual players. However, it's not without its frustrations on PC. The mouse-only controls can feel clunky, and the pathfinding occasionally sends you walking directly into a guard's line of sight when you meant to hide. It's also a very brief experience, so don't expect a deep, 20-hour campaign. If you can catch it on sale or just want a relaxing afternoon of light puzzling, it’s a solid pick that succeeds on its own modest terms.
Simple. Fairly easy. Unfortunately also fairly short. My one complaint is that there isn't a sequel. I'd like more.
I have played it about 10 years ago but I forget its name. Fortunately today I find it again. This game is one of my memory of childhood.
