This game is pretty cool. Knowing the story is based on real events gave me chills. Some mechanics still need work, but knowing the dev is remaking the game and dropping a big update with a whole new experience while keeping the story got me even more interested. Definitely recommend it. That’s why I recommend this game.

I know the developer, I bought one of his books and absolutely loved the story of The Midnight Town. Even though I’m not really a gamer, my husband and I bought the game to play together and we loved the story. The developer said a big update is coming soon that will change the whole game, so I’ll definitely check it out again. For a first game, it’s really great.

The game was literally rebuilt from scratch since its release. If you check the old videos on YouTube and play it now, you'll see a completely different game. The effort put in by the developer who, even when sick, did everything possible to make the game better and better… and it shows. Now there are collectibles, the story is much better and more complete. The new areas are so much better. It's a HUGE leap from the version that was released in 2023. I definitely recommend it. It's an indie game, the very first game from Dark Ocean Games, made by a tiny group of people who had never programmed in their lives before. Think about that.

This game is really good and worth the price. It lasts about an hour and a half and is perfect for those who love stories and paying attention to details.
