The casual and relaxed paced adventure game. Really enjoyed the storyline of the game, it kept the interest of finding Mo. The puzzles were good and even, worth playing with the kids. Loved playing the game!5 found this helpful
I don't usually write reviews, but this time I felt that I want to write something. I have searched a lot in order to find intriguing and different games. This game is amazing! It is completely an "out of the box" game absolutely suitable for all ages and not only for children. I really love the concept. The graphics are gorgeous! The world of "minims" is unique, big enough and have potential for many more stories. I loved the characters, they are cute and I liked very much the 3rd chapter. It's my favorite! The music contributes very well, I liked it! Nice melodies and soundtracks and I noticed a kind of a very discreet humour at some points! The main aspect is that the whole game is a beautiful experience!3 found this helpful
The Minims is a point-and-click adventure developed and published by beyondthosehills, offering a quiet and emotionally driven experience centered around exploration, puzzle-solving, and personal reflection. Rather than building itself around large gameplay systems or intense challenge, the game takes a slower and more thoughtful approach, focusing on atmosphere and storytelling to carry players through its world. It embraces a minimalist design philosophy that values emotional connection and imagination over complexity, creating an experience that feels calm, intimate, and surprisingly sincere. The story follows Mii, a small creature belonging to a species known as the Minims. Life changes dramatically when Mii’s companion, Mo, disappears without warning. What begins as a search for someone important slowly develops into a much deeper journey involving self-discovery, emotional growth, and understanding difficult changes in life. The narrative avoids relying on heavy dialogue or dramatic spectacle. Instead, it communicates much of its meaning through environments, symbolism, and quieter moments that gradually reveal emotional depth beneath the adventure. One of the game’s strong…
Very slow tempo game but with a great mood and thus relaxing. Smart puzzlework
Very fun puzzle game, innovative controls/mechanic that makes you spin the level and world that you are in to find the right intractable items for the puzzle. Very nostalgic graphics, but those don't hold the game back on being fun! Gameplay mixed with the cut scenes and the music playing do really fit the atmosphere it's creating!
