The Momo Game is a small-scale indie horror title developed and published by Caffeine that draws direct inspiration from the viral “Momo” internet phenomenon that circulated widely on social media several years ago. Built around the unsettling imagery and urban-legend mystique of that figure, the game attempts to transform a piece of online folklore into an interactive survival experience. Its premise is simple and immediately recognizable: after initiating contact with the mysterious entity, the player finds themselves trapped in a dangerous situation where they must complete objectives and survive long enough to escape. this is the greatest game every to have been seen by human eye, and i wish i was blind
So, this game is pretty awful, to be honest. The mechanics are clunky, and the design is bad overall. Momo might be scary at first, but once you figure out the pattern, it loses its edge. It feels like the Dark Souls of Momo games—difficult, but not in a fun way. The ending is a complete letdown, walking through a police car only to have Momo kill you. Very unsatisfying. I got it on sale because I’m a fan of Momo games, but this one is by far the hardest—and also the worst. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. 1/5 stars. Not Call Momo, more like Call It a Miss.
It's a game of all time.
