About The Overdreamer
The Overdreamer is a side-scrolling 2D horror game, in which you must use and combinate various items in order to defeat your enemies and carry on, so that you can figure out what's happening behind the scenes.
The protagonist is Niki, a little girl who finds herself in a nightmare, even though she doesn't even remember the time she went to bed. She's somewhat quick to realize that she cannot wake up from this nightmare, and the dream may not even be completely her own.
In physical battle, most of her enemies can kill her in an instant, so she has to rely on her smarts instead of her strength in order to overcome them, hide from them or trap them.

A mesmerizing and atmospheric puzzle game! 🌌 The dreamy visuals and calming soundtrack create a unique experience. Highly recommended for lovers of surreal and tranquil games!1 found this helpful
The Overdreamer, developed and published by Hars, is a haunting and imaginative indie horror adventure that combines side-scrolling exploration, puzzle solving, and surreal atmosphere into a dreamlike journey of fear and discovery. The game follows Niki, a young girl trapped in a mysterious nightmare world where nothing feels entirely real and danger lurks behind every shadow. There is no clear explanation for how she arrived in this realm or why it twists between familiar and grotesque environments, but from the opening moments, it is clear that escape will require intelligence, caution, and courage. The Overdreamer immediately sets a mood of unease that deepens as the player moves through dimly lit corridors, warped landscapes, and unsettling encounters, all underscored by a sense of fragile vulnerability. At its core, The Overdreamer is a 2D side-scrolling adventure that thrives on tension and exploration rather than combat. Niki is not a traditional action hero—she is fragile and can be killed in a single blow by most enemies, forcing the player to think carefully and rely on stealth, problem solving, and quick reflexes rather than brute strength. Pretty fun puzzler and platformer. Puzzles aren't too tough and the game is pretty straightforward. Some rough edges but you can save anywhere.
all doors looks same I lost a billion times even start , I actually cant handle . also loading screens are so long changing room is a torture. its buyable good puzzle game , but Im done. not recommended
Too platformish for me.
A little adventure game that mix platforming and some point and click adventure elements. The main focus for me was to figure out what was going on in the story, it can seem very trivial in the beginning (i like it anyway), but there is a point where the story turns the table. This was neither good nor bad, cause it is not so original but at least was something different from the initial direction of the story, and looking at the big picture of the story everything get back in place. The only real problem that i've with the story is the ending, i can say with no doubt that the ending is the dev running out of schedule and rushing it. Very unsatisfactory ending for me, really rushed.
