Only had time to play for a little while, but I am really liking this game. Love the music and the art. Controls are pretty solid. Game is a lot of fun to play and challenging but not too hard. There definitely was a lot of hard work put in on this one.3 found this helpful
After 2 hours, here's my take on the game. This is a quaint & charming little platformer. The gameplay is responsive & smooth, especially with a controller. This is one of the few games where mouse & keyboard is overly difficult so plugging in a controller helps greatly. The art style is easy on the eyes and the background only adds to the atmosphere. There is a good challenge with the platforming as well, with some tight jumps and quick reactions needed. I think one of the biggest selling points in the game is the mostly non-violent nature of combat. Now that statement sounds strange but you're painting paint blobs out of existence instead of shooting them, cutting them or otherwise blowing them up; this makes the game more appealing to a wider range of audiences (especially since you don't actually HAVE to remove them). This brings me to the next thing, speedrun potential. Because you don't need to fight the blobs for most of the stages, it's just a matter of hitting the objectives. Another cool mechanic is the actual painting; you literally paint the world as you go and can uncover secrets with it. So it pays to swing your paintbrush everywhere to unlock items & hidden platform…1 found this helpful
PROS - Easy to learn controls - Wonderful soundtrack - Diverse levels - Lovely concept CONS - Soundtrack can get a little repetitive - A level editor would be nice, eventually This lovely game brought to us by Luminosity Mobile is a fun twist on the usual puzzle platformer. The concept of using color and art to defeat enemies and solve puzzles gave me a smile and had me more hooked than I originally intended when I was given the chance to playtest. At first glance, it just seems like another puzzle platformer, but Luminosity has done a wonderful job of spinning a lighthearted story into something original and fun. The controls in this game flow very smoothly. I rarely found myself grumpy at the responsiveness or feeling like the game wasn't doing what I told it to do. Any mistakes I made would generally fall on me just being clumsy. The audio in the game is quality and well put together. The only issue I'd give for this is that the soundtrack gets repetitive after a bit. The length of the worlds and the single track per world design means that you'd be hearing the same tune over and over for quite a bit, especially if you got hung up on a puzzle. The art style is smooth and co…1 found this helpful

Couldn't get controller working, I believe that it might be Windows fault though, always asking for updates, the game itse;f looks quite nice, the concept is pretty basic but enjoyable, if I could get the controller working I'd enjoy it a lot more, if you want to see both my and my little brothers first impression, here is a video https://youtu.be/sRG-H64Iq4E1 found this helpful
