About The Rebel
Clockwork Game Software have taken over development of The Rebel and the game is currently being rebuilt from scratch with a new vision. The store page will be changed soon to match our product instead of the old version from the old developers.
What is the game all about though?
Well in the rebel you're playing a character called Kano. The year is 2045 and you have to deal with corporation known as Magnus who have full control over the access to natural resources.
Is the game in its finished, final state?
No. The game is finished enough to be playable but there are features that I'd like to add but were impossible for me at the moment. Such as: multiplayer. Multiplayer will require dedicated server which costs money so if the game doesn't end in total failure and I get at least enough to buy some beer, I'd also pay for multiplayer servers in the upcoming months. I've been also considering adding Russian or French as an language and improving the graphics and the gameplay - all that will happen through the months for as long as the game promises to have some future.
Have fun :)

Sometimes i don't understand how Steam works... This unfinished (or should say unstarted?) peace of ♥♥♥♥ still on sale while hundreds of other maybe not very good but at least playable games are being deleted and you can't even sell cards or check your achievements page. It's not fair.3 found this helpful

What in the literal ♥♥♥♥ is this wonderful masterpiece of a game? Oh gawd! Z-fighting. Z-fighting everywhere! (if you don't know what that is, look it up) You can't die. The enemies can't die. You can super jump and take visual damage from it. You can shoot a gun, but what's the point? You can run around and complete one of three missions, but what's the point? This belongs in the dead center of the sun, followed by a 1000 ton nuke, then engulfed by the black hole you just created. Let's never speak of this again and pretend it never happened.2 found this helpful
https://youtu.be/CohGupJRefM Simply put this game doesn't work. Limited AI, weapons, or level structure this feels like a project that was dropped after just the first attempts of development.1 found this helpful
This is an asset flip You click "load forest level". It takes hilariously long. There are some trees, boxes and a ship strewn around. Then your character starts going "ah ah" because a theropod is attacking you. You shoot it with your pistol. A robot joins the fight against you. No one takes damage and you walk away to get rid of the blood effect/pain sound. You fall through the floor. I don't think you can even report this on Steam because technically it isn't "broken"... no thank you i did not ask for this
