About The RPG

Imagine any fantasy RPG, but with traditional aspects simplified and turned inside out.
  • You don't need to eat food to heal - just pluck a piece of bread into a wound.
  • No need to sort out what’s to sell to a merchant: everything you collect is simply considered as "loot" and you sell a pile of such loot by weight.
  • There is an inventory and leveling up, but no complex skill-trees and inventory management.
  • The Dragon, the main antagonist(?), constantly glitches and breaks the game's rules. Find out why! Well... or don't. It's your choice, and it matters, like choices in RPGs should.
  • NO FISHING MINI-GAMES.
Dungeons are held by the Island’s administration. There is a technical floor, the workers of which make sure that torches are lit, traps are working and monsters are healed after a raid. Gritty secrets are hidden on the lowest floors, which can give you a chance to completely flip the storyline.
Carefully plan your targets, moves and ammo. Get ready to sweat!
Stock up with torches. There are plenty of places to explore!
You're stuck on an Adventure Island. There's a local attraction - the Dungeon, where you can raid, explore, loot, gain experience and level up. Just buy an adventurer's ticket, pass a turnstile, enter the elevator and choose the floor. The workers of the Island's administration make sure that traps are working, torches are lit and monsters are healed after raids. At the first glance, everything seems PERFECT for an aspiring adventurer, so why leave?
Turns out that everything is not as it seems. There's a dark, dirty secret that the Cool King is hiding. Which is not cool. Monsters are tired of the constant respawn loop, their lives are like a groundhog day. But the main monster, the Glitchy Dragon, went out of control and broke the game's rules in order to find the right person for his (in)genius plan. Maybe it's you? It's up to you to decide!

So this is one of the more creative works on Steam. It kinda pokes fun at certain video game trops, especially those in (You guessed it) RPGs. Especially Skyrim, as you would presum seeing the game's images. Gameplay-wise, it's worth exactly one playthrough, but none more. So I'd argue that buying it on sale is the way to go.

Loved it. The only part that almost put me off was the difficulty spike in the last area. Other than that the pacing was fine

For the first hour it felt good and brought memories of Supraland. Exploring the world, looking for loot and questing felt fun, but after discovering most of the mechanics, I realized that it's very shallow: - Looking for loot doesn't matter because it all respawns. - Killing monsters doesn't matter because they all also respawn. - Character, weapon and armor upgrades barely matter since most of enemies can be killed by continuously attacking and jumping away. And since everything respawns, they can be easily farmed to instantly become overpowered. - 3-4 out of 6 hours of my playtime were in a loop of doing easy and boring dungeons, travelling to the king, repeat... It completely killed all the fun. The would has its charm, but that's it. Everything else just feels out of place for me. Maybe one day I'll come back and change my mind, but for now, I just gave up and replayed Supraland.

Pretty fun game. Parody on open world RPGs like The Elder Scrolls (Morrowind, Skyrim, etc.) and Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It's not too long and pretty nicely done even though it might look like a slop. if you want to feel the "Old Open World RPG" vibe, but in 6-7 hours, this will do the trick. Combat could be more fun, and the late game dungeons are a bit too overpowered and tedious, but all in all it's a good sarcastic humorous casual Open World RPG.
