About Tyranny
As a powerful Fatebinder in a conquered world, you enforce—or subvert—an oppressive regime's rule through branching choices that fundamentally reshape the land and its factions. Obsidian's tactical RPG stands out by letting you play as an established authority figure navigating a morally complex world where the tyrant has already won, challenging traditional notions of heroism and letting your ambitions, alliances, and ideals determine the fate of nations.
From Obsidian Entertainment, the team behind Pillars of Eternity, Fallout: New Vegas, and South Park: The Stick of Truth, Tyranny is a classic-styled RPG with a new and original story, shaped and molded by your actions. The very layout of the world will be altered by your decisions as you choose sides, make allies and enemies, and fight for your own vision of law and order in an immersive and reactive story.

Its my first review im writing and im very conflicted as to what to say. I LOVE this game, the world, the setting, the story, the gameplay etc etc. I think its a very unique game in not only the art/mechanics/gameplay and actual choices that matter, BUT its setting is extremely interesting and it put me in a deep thought of things. I just finished it and i feel very happy, satisfied and like i just finished a really good movie. Everything i mentioned above just made me fall in love with it... WHICH IS WHY I FEEL SO SALTY OVER STUFF I WOULDNT OTHERWISE CARE ABOUT RAHHHH Like this game is a masterpiece, but GOD it lacks in SO many areas and not because they couldnt make it better. First of all the fact that they took the time to give so much dialogue to the companions but lock their companion quests behind a buggy dlc is utterly unacceptable. They're not super unique in terms of RPG characters/archetypes neither are they groundbreaking, but they seem very fleshed out and you seem them "exist and react" with the world around them, which just makes me feel like they started them with great ideas and just got bored midway and scratched most of it off (which is my qualm with the whole ga…1 found this helpful

The devs will never have the balls to make anything like that. Diamond of a game.
The characters are interesting and varied. The magic system provides a lot of choice and has good graphic displays. It is challenging without feeling impossible. Magic is very powerful.
If you like old-school CRPG this is a good game. Gameplay is easy to understand and its easy to get into the game.
One of the best and most original CRPs that I have ever played.
