The Scary Square

"The Scary Square" is a pointless, godawfully bad, short little tech demo that's not worth anyone's time. What do you do in the game? You're in a room with a guy with an MS-Paint face. You play sound clips at him. The end. Seriously, that's all you do. The game is quite short, and can be run through in just 5 minutes. The lack of content here makes it hard to suggest it's worth spending the time to add to your library and download. The graphics here are particularly awful, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuab…

Что касается дизайна уровней, то он лаконичный и функциональный, каждый коридор и комната создают ощущение угнетенности и приближающейся опасности. Звуковое сопровождение на высоте: скрипы, шепот и внезапные звуки держат в постоянном напряжении, а отсутствие музыки только усиливает эффект. Хотя история не раскрывается напрямую, в игре присутствует загадочная атмосфера, которая заставляет строить собственные теории о происходящем. Хочется узнать больше о прошлом этого зловещего места и о роли квадрата в нем. В целом, "The Scary Square" - это короткий, но запоминающийся хоррор-опыт, который доказывает, что для создания атмосферы страха не нужны сложные механики и реалистичная графика. this game is quite hard considering some don't know what to do but its very well

I am torn with this game, I am split 50/50. It is a good game, it has an interesting and original plot but there are some issues that made this game really hard for me and I don't think I will play it again. It isn't colourblind friendly, really hard to make out words. Some of the sounds weren't working or just too long in my opinion. Also, there is a problem with the audio settings that needs to be looked at. I tried turning it down in game but every time after you die it would be reset at the loudest volume but I did turn my computer audio down so it was at a manageable volume. I was confused a lot while playing, I only got two of the endings because of how fast paced the clicking was. I wouldn't say it is beginner friendly for people who are starting to play video games, but please try it out. If you are amazing at fast paced clicker games, this is for you.
