About The Simplest Game in the World
"You won't be challenged, here is what's left." —— Toji Molabi
The Simplest Game in the World is a narrative video game that pokes and prods ideas of a game being simple, or being otherwise. The gameplay is intentionally straightforward, just so we see what can be achieved by simply key pressing.
Expect a short hike, but also expect distractions since chambers arise as you explore, offering chances to take a deeper peek inside.
That said, feel free to dive in and break the game.

Alright. I've played through a few planned paths to the end of The Simplest Game in the World and have gotten a decent chain of words from the hidden game wrapped up as well. But I don't think I'll actually beat that part to unlock the other secret games within the hidden game, so I'm inclined to call it good for now. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3517712820 This is a cool and highly quirky little game, probably inspired by G.L.A.D.O.S. and Hal 9000, where the antagonist is the AI you are conversing with in the game. Who spends all its time messing with you while you also probably mess with it. Via typed selections or a refusal to type your selections. Speaking of typing, this is a type a response to get a response type of game. Keyboard only of course. And the real goal is to solve various undisclosed logic puzzles to unlock hidden/secret areas of the game/dialogue in the game where you reveal more puzzles. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3517712768 There are secret words that, if you sus them out, will unlock new dialogue. And if you aren't click happy on the keyboard, you will find the entry into the games within the gam…18 found this helpful
Not recommended. If it was free, I'd say try this attempt at a 4th wall breaking game. There are no graphics, just text and although it is a little clever, it ends well before it gets interesting. The achievements show there is more than what's on the surface, so for those who like this style of game, you may find a little more entertainment than I did.6 found this helpful

If your favourite part of Superhot was not the gameplay, then buy this game. This sounds like one of the facetious Steam reviews. but I mean it earnestly. It told a really weird story in a really weird way, and so does this game. I say game, the only game you'll be playing is whether you can out-think the creator somehow. It really is as simple as pressing a button. Most of the game will be taking place in your head, and you'll have to trust that the creator knows you well. Sometimes that can devolve into a case of having to guess what the creator is thinking, in order to make progress. This game wouldn't work if it was made by a studio. It's very much an auteur experience, sold for cheap, but I'd say it's worth the price of admission.3 found this helpful
This game is very simple. Possibly the simplest game in the world. I got everything I wanted but I am not satisfied. I never will be satisfied. I need more than a game, I need an alternate reality and immersion and customization if possible. Interesting meta game. It's pricy but I'll support the developer. I didn't really get all the achievements because I am lazy and I play games for the immersion. But congrats to the developer, there is no game more simple than this one. Yet.3 found this helpful
Great game. Worth it. Bit difficult though.
