About The Twins
The Twins
Much like The Summoning, (Predecessor of The Twins), this experience can be classified as a psychological and atmospheric horror game.
However...
This isn't a game...
It looks like a game, but it's as real as it gets...
Remember all of the urban legends from your childhood?
Bloody Mary, Candy Man, even the modern day Slender Man?
Imagine if it was all real, but we just weren't performing the right rituals to summon these beings from another realm...
What if our childhood nightmares were all real, we just weren't ready to bring them into our world?
Well, for those willing, brave, or foolish enough, The Twins presents the possibility for you to do just that...
This experience is not for the faint of heart.
You will need access to a few things, such as a writing utensil, paper, a dark room, and a mirror.
Can you get through all of the tasks in the game and perform them aloud?
Can you manage to survive this experience alone?
You may bring a friend if you wish, or dare a friend to do this experience, but be warned...
This is a once in a lifetime experience... It must be done properly and instructions followed precisely for it to work...
But it does in fact work...
Good luck to all who are brave enough to endure this nightmare.
I'm sorry to all who are not prepared but just don't realize it yet...

What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players appreciate The Twins as a brief, unsettling horror experience with interesting lore that expands on the story from the previous game, with some praising the poetry and gradual reveals. However, common criticisms include that it feels less polished and has less shock value than The Summoning, with some finding it not as entertaining overall or simply not their preferred style of horror. Some players also express discomfort with the game's use of real spiritual ritual elements, though they still acknowledge the experience as enjoyable.
Pretty good short horror story. If you like this kind of thing, definitely, I'd recommend.3 found this helpful
The Summoning's chain mail felt more entertaining, but The Twins gives insight into more of Helga's history through her daughters Tilly and Tracy. This is just more or less the same game that isn't quite as polished, with less shock factor. 2.5/101 found this helpful
Once again, a fun unsettling experience with possible lore implications. Once again a game that is enjoyable, but I cannot recommend to others due to the practice of spiritual rituals similar to those that are used by real witches and, to put it humorously, morons. But still a fun experience, I revoke it of any criticism I have since I've been through latter games before this one. Still I can't recomend.
This game is Set in the same story as the summoning. I liked this one a little more since things appeared as you advanced which made it easier to not miss something. I also really enjoyed the poems. Ghost did not join me in this ritual, she left me all alone.
Another one that is just not my cup of tea... (really like the devs though!)
I should have waited until Halloween to play this.
