The Way Home: Pixel Roguelike

It's my second time playing this game, cute graphics, funny characters and the simple yet wonderful background music, I'd purchased this game immediately discovered it released on Steam without a discount. Keep up the good work up! And please also consider publishing the game ost, as an integration to the game or as a separate DLC. :) Looking forward to your second game!

I loved this game on Android, and I'm happy to find out that there's a PC port as well... even if it is a very lazy port. Controller support is just broken; your character drifts to the left more often than not, and you can't remap fire buttons. Pretty much the same for playing with keyboard, you are stuck with the keys the developer chose and you can't redefine them. Not even the mouse works quite right. All in all, it's still a very cute, enjoyable game, so I do recommend it despite these issues. By the way, since the game doesn't tell you about keyboard controls at any point: - WASD/cursor keys for movement. - M for mining/talking with characters/activating stuff. - J and K for opening/closing the inventory and skill windows while in dungeons, and to open the crafting and unlockables windows while on the island. - I to open the map (also, for some reason, to place decks once you have crafted them). - Esc to cancel.

It is a cute, simple, fairly short, and sweet game. There is nothing really spectacular or outstanding about it. It allows fora more relaxing design to a genre of games that can be very intense.

I love this game! I hope it gets more content but I find the experience incredibly enjoyable. 10/10
