About The Wendigo
The Wendigo - is a first person investigation horror game set in a Victorian era mansion, located in the heart of a forest. You must rely on your instinct and intuition to survive the horrors that lie within. With tools to aid you, you will seek answers, but will you survive?
You are a member of a newly formed paranormal investigation team whose set out to debunk ghostly stories and urban legends. Due to reports of a local legend in a small town, your team decides to investigate the fabled abandoned mansion. Unfortunately for your team, the community has not informed you of an evil spirit native to the northern forests, the Wendigo. It is likely this creature of legend is influencing the strange events around the mansion. The spirit’s legend is considered by psychiatrists to be a form of culture-bound syndrome. Early symptoms of this psychosis include the inability to feel full, violent and unpredictable behavior, the insatiable desire to eat human flesh.
Upon arriving, you and your team begin to setup for the investigation. After you finish unloading and assembling the command station you realize none of your friends have returned from preparing their areas...you must now find out what has happened to your team before their fate becomes your own...

I'm not going to say it's a bad game... GRAPHICS 10/10 SCARY 10/10 Plot....9/10....I couldn't find the recorders....but maybe I'm just dumb? BUT....what ticks me off is the function of opening/closing doors. I had to press 'E' like 20 times to get a door open and then some open inward or outward. This is super confusing and not user friendly, please fix and I will gladly change my review!1 found this helpful

I even recognise the house you wander around in from a few other asset flips. There's jumpscares and an asset flipped monster, too. The only notable thing about this is the developer gave up trying to charge money for it. The Wendigo is partially or completely made up of stock assets, "borrowed" from asset stores and free asset websites. Little, if anything in this game is the creation of the "developer". While there's no up front price for this asset flip, the other problem with asset flips is that when developers aren't capable of doing their job and creating high quality assets, it's also true they can't do any of the rest of the job of a game developer either. That's definitely true for "The Wendigo", and this kind of asset flipping never results in games that have quality or value for PC gamers. Without having the option to toggle Crouch and the EMF device, this game seems to be unplayable unless you want your fingers to cramp up... Also the monster just outright cheats, respawning in front of you or even in a room before you, this game just sucks...
