An ominous presence hangs in the air across Ohio. Something is coming to Earth, and their sights are set on the Midwest. You look up into the dark night sky of Cleveland and wonder... what else is out there?Then, things begin to change...At work, people begin to act strange, like they are no longer themselves. Your friends act like they don't even know you and your neighbors look the other way as you walk down the street. Soon, people begin to disappear, but no one seems to notice. You wonder if you are going crazy? Have you just been living in Cleveland for too long? You begin to investigate things on your own and find yourself embroiled in a conspiracy that will take you to the ends of Ohio!Features:

I'm really, [i]really[/i] bad at metroidvanias, and have spent more time exploring (read: dying) than attempting to survive the story, but am having a lot of fun brawling axe-wielding "Parma Maniacs" and irradiated monsters in Rivergate Park. [h3]Story[/h3] You're a former military man with an unhappy wife and unprofitable career at the ethically challenged Easton-Hammond Defense Contractor. One day, your boss gives you a gun and a letter, dispatches you to "Clifton Avenue," and from there… some kind of irradiation has mutated folk and generated alien monsters? Maybe? This takes place in the same universe as [i]Elijah and the Out of this World Adventure[/i], and ~60 years before [i]Daisy Flies to the Moon[/I], both by PDS Games. Side scrolling shooter, RPG. Has a lot of features that make older games fun - focused story, encourages exploration/thinking, funny dialogue, not too easy/hard. Drawbacks are bugs (for example, bullet travels during pauses), UI is sometimes not intuitive but functional, sometimes graphics are a bit hard to see. But overall great experience and the positives by far outweigh the negatives. I went the nice guy route, but wish I went with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ending instead.6 found this helpful
I'm from Cleveland, so it was a must buy. The dialogue had me LAUGHING immediately. A silly depiction of the city that I really enjoy, no matter how true/untrue things may seem!3 found this helpful
