It manages to make chaos feel boring and has the continuing charm of a student project with pacing that swings between mildly frantic and existential waiting simulator.

Avoid at all costs! Wretched and horrible game. Set aside the complete lack of fluff and lack of tutorial. There are two combat towers, and you can afford one of each. On the second level you die before you can buy anything else, regardless of placement, or spell use. Each seems to have some upgrade ability, though I didn't get to experiment with these much, as you die before you can try on level two. There is a third kind of tower, with no explanation of what it does, though I think it may give you extra lives. Oh, and part way thru the first level, my towers simply started vanishing from the map. Weeee.... An easy game to warn people away from. The sort of cutsie look does nothing to make up for the complete lack of enjoyable game play.
