About This Is No Cave
Stranded on an uncharted planet after a harrowing crash landing, you find yourself navigating treacherous depths in an underground labyrinth. Try to get back to your ship quickly, you don't wanna know what dug those tunnels...

This Is No Cave is a minimalist, fast-paced 2d platformer playable with just your mouse (controller supported still). Propel and sling yourself through a multitude of intricate levels with your suit's thrusters and grapple hook, leveraging the strange alien fauna and flora. You'll also have to avoid the apex predators of this world, the colossal and terrifying worms that occasionally descend upon you, turning your escape into a heart-pounding race for survival.

Faster speeds mean greater challenges and more excitement. Quick respawns ensure you're never far from the action, encouraging rapid iteration and mastery of your trajectory. Compete for supremacy on the leaderboard by shaving precious milliseconds off your best times.

Not in a try-harding mood? Tailor your experience with adjustable parameters like lives, burst charges, and even game speed and enjoy the journey at your own pace. Immerse yourself in hand-drawn landscapes, from the eerie depths of subterranean caves to the vibrant expanse of a lush jungle, both teeming with alien life.
Try to go as far as possible in a neverending chase with the worms in endless mode, picking up bonuses along the way. But be warned, each time you buff yourself the worm gets stronger too!

It's the best auto-runner EVER by FAR
Hey, that's a nice challenging game with an interesting mechanic. Especially, considering the price. But it's not for me. At first, this is a kind of game where you rather have to memorize levels in order to beat them. Second, main mechanic provides unconstrained 360° aiming and that's quite questionable. It's too challenging for me to aim cursor when camera movement is unpredictable. Perhaps, it's better to play with a controller, but I'm not a fan of that. If it had more locations (visually) or points of interest, probably I'd continue. But no.
I had a great time with this game! The controls are simple but have depth to them. The levels get fairly difficult, but the shield on normal mode makes some the harder sections easier than they should be. I wish there were more levels, but supposedly there is a DLC coming. The controls feel fluid and fun, and I presume when I return to the levels they will feel even more fluid as I get a handle on the game mechanics I think I'll try hardcore because although the base game can be challenging, its fairly forgiving with checkpoints and shields.
I'm old so it was quite a challenge mechanically but good game.
Short, tense, tight, enjoyable. Easy recommendation if you like fast-paced precision platformers.
Got this from the bundle with CATO. Really fun platformer-runner game and I love the aesthetic. I've just been playing it in short bursts so far, but it works well with both mouse and controller!
