Just a fresh and challenging game to have fun with, and also try hard if you unlock the hardcore mode.
Let's talk about the story a bit :
You are a penguin with a bandana that jumps and slide, great is'nt it? Our team spent a bunch of efforts in the development of this story.
Now let's see serious things :
polished hand crafted level design, with a very suitable mechanics that offer many possiblities and ways to pass the level,
without struggling too much in easy/normal mode.
Only arrows and 2 buttons in use (jump and dive)
and when I say "arrows" let's say only left and right, no dash up/down so you can't miss your dash.
(only down arrow is used to dive deep in the water, pretty rare in the game actually, and don't worry, levels with water in it are not "water levels" xD )
6 zones with 9 levels each, plus a boss,
replayable in hardcore mode to get the full thrill.
I really hope you'll enjoy this game since I put a lot of reflexion in it to make it as fun as possible,

I was looking around for penguin games one day, and I happened to stubble upon this underground gem! Thrill Penguin is a pretty good and polished platformer, but MAN can it be difficult at times! Controlling the penguin is very smooth, and the speediness of it allows it to keep my attention span for more than 12 seconds lol. Though sometimes, the penguin can get stuck while trying to climb walls, or it could become very stiff while trying to control it in midair. The pixelated graphics are nice and pleasant, and the soundtrack for this game gave me major Cave Story vibes. I liked how the boss spewed out fireballs in the hallways like Bowser in the first Super Mario Bros, hehe. Overall, it is a pleasant experience from beginning to end, especially if you've played games like Sonic the Hedgehog or Pizza Tower. If you're a fan of penguins like I am and you're ready for a challenge, this game is for you!
A minor project from the developer after [b]Garlic[/b], clearly using a lot of its code, given the almost identical wall-jumping and wall-climbing mechanics, with simpler but cleaner graphics and little frills; there's not even a story, only the hilarious faces of the penguin either in victory or defeat, showing that the creator is effectively the same. While the controls are always responsive, I actually liked the mechanics a bit more here, because the penguin doesn't tend to stick to walls automatically, only when you activate the climbing. His animation is adorable, especially the way his dive can end up with a slow belly flop on a flat surface but, when used correctly, allows to gain momentum by sliding on slopes, even upside-down! [b]Thrill Penguin[/b] creates a false sense of safety as the first levels are little more than a tutorial, but it soon makes it clear it's a worthy little brother to [b]Garlic[/b], there are no enemies to contend with, but the level designs are more than enough; the game especially loves the gimmick of platforms and walls that start moving the moment they are touched, be them falling, ascending, or moving laterally to squish the penguin, making som…
Thrill Penguin is a fun speed platformer. The controls are nice and smooth, and the levels are fun to get through as fast as possible.
