About Tile Town

Welcome to Tile Town!

Enjoy this simple (but challenging) medieval-themed strategy game played on a hexagonal grid. Plop down various building tiles, each with its own preferred neighboring tiles, to get the highest score possible. Find the best placement for each tile and make use of special perfect placement bonuses. Hit the next score threshold to gain additional batches before you run out of tiles. Unlock new types of tiles, new levels, improve your high scores and compare them to other players on the Steam leaderboards, or go for a stroll in the first person mode.

Tile Town offers the following features:

  • 10 different levels and a special procedurally generated island guarantee replayability
  • 30+ various tiles with adorable custom-made buildings and props, each with randomized appearance
  • Vibrant and picturesque medieval-themed visuals
  • First person camera view for walking around your town together with other peasants
  • Depth of field option to make the town looks extra tiny and adorable
  • Peaceful and relaxing soundtrack to complete the atmosphere
  • 14 Steam achievements to unlock
  • Steam leaderboards for comparing your scores to other players
  • Key rebinding and a partial controller support
  • 6 languages (at the moment) including English, French, Czech, German, Chinese, Spanish

What Tile Town doesn't have and will not have:

  • 4X strategy mechanics
  • Resource management
  • Combat
  • Multiplayer

I played this one while binge watching Silent Witness (on BritBox) so I definitely recommend this one as a more relaxing, casual, calming sort of game. The highest I got any single piece was only around 500 points so far, so I still have one last achievement to get! It was a lot of fun, and zooming in and watching the people is cool too! Lots of detail! Definitely recommended if you need something to play that's a good relaxer after a long day, or something to play while you binge watch the murders like me!! :D

I like the game makes sense but there is only a few islands and you can't unlock the procedural island without 150 k total on all the others which is steep since I am on the leaderboard high up on all of the islands and still can't unlock it. So it's okay but limited. I am not playing anymore since I am irritated after trying several times to up my scores on lesser islands and still can't unlock. To hard to get that carrot

Tile Town, developed and published by One Goose Army, takes the familiar concept of city building and strips it down to its most enjoyable elements. Instead of overwhelming players with extensive economic systems, political management, or survival mechanics, it presents a focused experience centered on strategy, planning, and creativity. The result is a game that feels both relaxing and mentally stimulating, offering an inviting atmosphere that makes it easy to lose track of time while placing just one more tile. At the center of the experience is a hex-based puzzle system where every building placement contributes to the growth and score of a medieval settlement. Farms, homes, landmarks, and other structures each have their own preferences and synergies, encouraging players to carefully consider their decisions rather than placing tiles randomly. As score targets are reached, new opportunities open up, extending each session and rewarding efficient planning. This structure gives Tile Town a satisfying rhythm, where small victories steadily build toward an impressive and bustling village. The game's simplicity is one of its greatest strengths, as it remains approachable for newcom…

its a cozy little casual tile game. not much thinking needed. some tiles go best with some and give you more points and go bad with others and give you negative points. you open levels by scoring and there's sometype of leaderboard.

Good minimalistic tile-placing game. It's very simple and I can't advise it for puzzle-lovers because of really non tricky gameplay but it's kinda relaxing. It has more potential than has used.
