About Time Turned

You are the newest recruit to a world-famous organization of secret agents. With the time-bending stopwatch provided to you, you must work alongside past versions of yourself to solve puzzles and advance deeper into the secret lair of the evil Dr. Ineptus. Will you be able to foil his latest scheme before he sees his nefarious plot to completion?

The Organization's mystical stopwatch can freeze time, rewind it, and even create time clones. These temporal companions are perfect copies of the player that will replicate whatever the player has done taken since the beginning of each level. Cleverly utilizing these clones is essential to solving many of the challenges Time Turned presents.

Time Turned by Automagickal is an indie puzzle game that challenges players to navigate through a series of intricately designed levels using a unique time-bending stopwatch. As an apprentice to a secret agent, your mission is to delve deeper into the lair of the nefarious Dr. Ineptus, encountering past versions of yourself to solve increasingly complex puzzles. The game's core mechanic involves the manipulation of time, where you must carefully observe the movements of your past selves and strategically place them in critical positions to complete each level. This adds an additional layer of difficulty, as you must not only strategize your movements but also execute them efficiently before time runs out. However, this element also heightens the sense of accomplishment when you successfully conquer a particularly tricky stage. The visuals in Time Turned are simple yet pleasing, with colorful environments and charming character designs that evoke a retro aes…

Very fun game -- feels like Portal but in 2D pixel art. Took me just under 10 hours to complete the game so there's definitely some content to dig into. Runs great on SteamOS.

It's a cool gimmick but not for me. The time clones don't always do what they did on the round you made them, causing them to get killed by things that should not have killed them. Weird things happened in the level "formerly known as tweeter" like the spring hat not being enough to get to the top right platform and the Ro kept on ignoring me at the start of my second round, instead passing the top barrier somehow and flawlessly turning the corner to kill my past clone
