Tin Tandem is one of literally thousands of retro 2D platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "platformers" on the Steam store page yields over 17,000 results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. I'm wondering if this was a student homework assignment or some kind of weekend project... a very weak "control two characters and make your own platforms" gimmicked platformer with bad art, worse controls, and no compelling reason for anyone to play it, as the SteamDB data shows. Platforming is an old, mostly dead genre, and this lacklustre experience, while it doesn't have an upfront cost, isn't saving the genre... it's no surprise this failed to capture any attention from gamers in the era of immersive 3D gaming. In terms of visuals, this features really godawful MS-Paint tier "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. В роли двух крошечных роботов, путешествующих по постапокалиптическому миру, игроку предстоит решать несложные, но заставляющие задуматься головоломки, основанные на координации действий и взаимодействии. Управление двумя персонажами одновременно может показаться непростым, но именно в этом и заключается изюминка игры, побуждающая к поиску нестандартных решений и терпению. Визуальный стиль игры заслуживает отдельной похвалы: он прост, но выразителен, а музыкальное сопровождение идеально дополняет общую картину, создавая ощущение уязвимости и надежды одновременно. Tin Tandem — это не просто игра, а скорее интерактивная история о дружбе, взаимовыручке и поиске смысла в разрушенном мире. Она оставит после себя приятное послевкусие и желание вернуться к этим милым героям снова.
