This game is all about racing alone, with the track itself being your only opponent. There is no story, and there is not even explanation about what is happening. You simply drive on tracks and try to earn the best medal possible on each one. There is currency as well, but it is mainly used to unlock new tracks, while the three purchasable cars require a different type of currency. Unfortunately, new cars do not change much because there are no visible stats or improvements compared to the starting car. Customization options are limited to appearance and not performance upgrades. You will not find improvements for the engine, brakes, or anything similar. Instead, you get sliders for red, green, and blue values, allowing you to create almost any color you want. There is also a wear slider that lets you make your car look either like it just left the factory or like it has already survived countless races, along with a gloss slider. For smaller details, there are several wheel and decal options to personalize your vehicle.
