About To the Stars
Ancient alien monuments are scattered across the universe like drops of werkle flung from the end of Sopsabble’s flobber… no, like psychedelic raisins dotted all the way through a Datrippian spacecake… no, no, like exquisite treasures in an Opudumm mine! The point is, there are loads of them. And they are the key to ruling the stars themselves.

Build spaceships planetside and launch skywards - conquer enemy territory and race to be the first to reactivate derelict monuments. Activate the monuments in each sector to control your constellation. When you control the constellations, you control the galaxy!

Will you battle as the tough, street-smart Sasharkpas? The madcap-genius Fringlots? Or the efficient, no-nonsense Practwomms? Unlock even more diverse alien factions with unique abilities as you progress through the game.

“Soon there’ll only be 7 planets left, cause I’m gonna destroy Uranus” - Me, to the AI, as I proceed to capture their planets en masse.
📝 Main Pros, Cons, and Suggestions, followed by the Review:
🟩 Pros: + Planets have enjoyable facial expressions + Tutorial does a good job of explaining everything + 5 constellations, featuring a roguelike gameplay loop with 5 lives + 9 factions, each with different starting strength, speed, and abilities 🟥 Cons: - No mid-match restart - Tutorial planets could be reduced, with more elements being introduced in a single missing rather than one by one - The last section (battle) of the first constellation did not unlock during one of my runs (until I performed a full restart) 🏷️ Suggestions: ~ Enable a mid-match restart ~ Reduce the scope of the tutorial ~ Build upon the current ability/skill pool
A fast paced RTS experience without the complexity and mental fatigue
To the Stars follows a formula that will be familiar to anyone who enjoyed the Flash game ‘Little Stars for Little Wars’ – Start with a planet, build your fleet, and conquer the galaxy. The more planets you control, the faster your fleet grow…9 found this helpful
This is a fun little game later Stages and Races offer quite a bit of a challenge!2 found this helpful
It is a nice, mostly chill strategic game to play that I enjoyed my time with, that's why I recommend it. I completed it 100% at 31 hours in, but if you're not a completionist be aware that it gets quite same-y after just a few hours of gameplay.1 found this helpful
Sigh… this game is really fun. The different factions each make an interesting spin on gameplay. Dunno what more I can say…1 found this helpful
This isn't worth £13. I suggest playing a free game called Relentless Expanse instead, it's right here on Steam.1 found this helpful
