Absolute cringiest dialoges imaginable. Yes its so bad, that its actualy ruins gameplay(since gameplay is basicaly constant loop of clearing same locations with different guys)-everyone acts like sonic-fanfiction character in avengers cinematic universe and they never, NEVER shut up. Every moment, every movement, every attack every click will be narrated with some abyssmal ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like: "-Damn sometimes i want to try pineapple pizza -PUTTING PINEAPLE ON PIZZA IS PUNISHABLE BY DEATH BY GALACTIC ORDER OF REDDITORUS" "-wow this abyssmal deathplato of evil is so big -Imagine mortage dark lord is paying for it" You think "oh he is just exagerating and dramatising", i swear its even worse, just launch this game and play it before 2 hours runs out and see for yourself-but i advise you dont. With roguelike loop and slow progression game should be used as torture device, i saw much ♥♥♥♥, like LOS2, dragon age:vanguard, mixtape, saint rows remake, but this... Dear devs, next time hire me as writer, im not a pro, but literaly anyone could do better job than those guys. This writing is not ai level its just such ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that no ai could comply, simply because no human being talks that retarde…

An enjoyable turn-based roguelike in the vein of Darkest Dungeon. + Perfect information - no RNG + Intuitive turn-based combat system based on denying the enemy turns, a la Metaphor: Re Fantazio or the Fuga: Melodies of Steel series + Affinity system that gives you cutscenes between party members and rewards you with alternate appearances and movesets - Runs take a very long time (2 hours +) and the incremental improvements that persist between runs are not as significant as I prefer - Irreverent tone can detract from the story. Think Borderlands. - Indie title; no voice acting, and occasional bugs requiring hard rebooting the game and loading the last auto-save. For the price, very much worth a look if you are a fan of the genre. 8/10

The art is good. I can see how the gameplay could be fun for some, but it didn't really strike a chord with me. It's more meant to be neutral since I got only like 5 hours in so I can't judge it for the whole game but since Steam forces you to pick one and I abandoned it, there you go.

This game has a combination of mechanics. A rivalry mechanic reminiscent of Shadow of Mordor. A recruiting mechanic and art style reminiscent of Into the Breach. While I do enjoy the art style, I am starting to get sick and tired of pixel art. The roguelike elements that's infested gaming since Slay the Spire. Somewhat modern JRPG mechanics that has moved away from the Pokemon style battles. The battles can feel very busy, with a lot of arrows and the damage figures and sequencing, especially with certain items, become difficult to track by the end of the game. The game should be clearer about unlocking conditions of the characters, I really didn't want to open up a wiki to check out how to obtain certain characters. Overall, it presents a package that is easy to pick up and fun to play with a decent amount of replayability.

On top the the incredible art style, this game has some of the most fun turn-based RPG combat I've ever experienced. The gameplay loop is super fun and the feeling of slowly getting more powerful each run gives you that itch to try just one more time! An unexpected bonus for a rogue-ish game is that the writing is superb and the characters are all interesting and fun!
