When Kai hears that his next door neighbor, Chris, will be staying with him while her parents are overseas, he thinks nothing of it. They're best friends, after all, and have been since childhood. To him, she's just "one of the guys", and a sleepover is nothing new.
But what Kai doesn’t realize is that, tomboy or not, Chris is now an adult woman. Furthermore, she has a strong sex drive, and she's planning to use their cohabitation as an excuse to show him sides of her that Kai never knew existed.
Just as Chris's advances begin to take effect, however, an obstacle appears: Sophie, Kai's most recent crush. She's a beautiful girl who radiates kindness, and naturally attracts people of both sexes towards her. Her only downfall appears to be that, for every nice word spoken about her, an equal number of heinous rumors drag her name through the mud...

Well written and dramatic. A lot more emphasis on story and relationships than porn, so that'll be a plus for some and a minus for others.1 found this helpful
This review contains minor spoilers. I think this is a good game that could've been a great game. I'd still recommend it but I beat it and got the best ending in 2 hours so if you're tight on money wait for a sale. This game could've been twice as long and I feel it would've filled out nicely. I think wondering which girl you should trust is a really fun angle and it could've been expanded on more. It's obvious who the game is about (read the title) but Sophie is an option and I think making you question Chris is good. Kai feels very much like a cookie-cutter romance anime protagonist; a dense, lazy guy with a heart of gold but I came around on him even if I wish he had a bit more spice. If I had any other critiques it's that the writing can feel very much like an anime romcom at times and I totally get someone being dense but Kai is being thrown 'hints' the size of Nebraska. A lobotomy patient could see how much Chris likes him. Wish there was more. Good game. Hell yeah, tomboys.
truly a cinematic masterpiece. Tomboys Need Love Too! is the epitome of Tomboy loving. I got married to a tomboy.
This was my second experience with Zetsubou game, though i had no idea at that time about fact like this. It’s a visual novel with very limited choice, mostly being very straightforward. There is unexpected turn though, including some nsfw, pretty much came out of nowhere cause nothing hinted at it. So plot is basically what it says in description - teen childhood friends to romance story in school setting. Anything besides that would spoil what happens in game, just know that mostly it’s just that not counting unexpected turn. Visually it is quite cute polished 2d art that is on edge of serious but still being cute, backgrounds though are nothing to write home about. Audio is there and as far as i recall does not conflict with gameplay, so it’s fine enough.
Some mediocre cartoons stitched together with a boring story that you can finish in about an hour.
