About Tomomon

World of Zento

Are you feeling bored? Want to try something new, but it also brings back the old, true good feeling from when you were a child?
Come to the Tetron planet, where all this beautifully magical pixel art journey begins.
Zento is the first area you'll encounter on your journey to Tetron. Explore this land with its Tomomons and uncover its many mysteries.

Exploring beautiful and colorful pixel art world. (It's actually running around and doing nothing.)
Travelling across multiple types of environment to discover the lore and the monsters species. (Typical Monster taming gerne, lol.)
Gather valuable materials to craft new items and foods for your Tomomon. (See, your slaves want your food.)
Building, customizing your own secret base. (Build a nice house to enslave more!!)

The TOMOMONs

Tomomon are creatures that inhabit the entire planet of Tetron, having appeared and existed for a very long time. Each species of creature has its own unique characteristics, origins, and abilities.

Enslaving and taming over 200+ Tomomons and making them battle to eternity.
Riding them around the big world of Tetron. (or let 'em ride you...)
Discovering and forcing Tomomons to evolve for the power!
Exploring the Tomomon Fusion for the new power to reach a higher position in society.
Interacting with them to manipulate them to get rewards and bonuses.

The Challenge

Embark on an epic journey of discovery across Tetron and be a true Tomomon Tamer master.

Bullying weak tamers to earn the victory and become the champion of Zento.
Matching up skills to make new strategy to win the engaging 3v3 turn-based battle.
If your build is not effective enough, you will get bullied by the Guardians, Elites, or the Boss. So be warned!

There's some cute concepts and 'mon designs but the fact you can't switch out your creatures mid combat kills alot of the tactics for me. You have a total of 6 mon but can only use 3 per fight and lose immediately if those 3 get KO'd with no option to sub in the others. Almost pointless to have 6 besides just to XP share or switch out of combat if one of your main ones are weak. The dialogue is also a bit shallow and redundant, feels like a fast food version of Pokemon. Solid 5/10 for me.

6 hours so far and Im honestly impressed by content. Might be a bit rough to pick up in the early game, but once you udnerstand the base systems its pretty simple, similar to pokemon series. So far in max difficulty I havent found it to be too hard, but I have seen a lot of depth that the 3v3 combat format can have with many different team buffs and effects. Progression seems to be balanced to be a pleasant experience and the world is open for the player, you are not forced to follow main quests, or do anything in particular, this is very interesting as it allows you to explore the region at your own pace. It might have the unintended consecuence of overleveling yourself for certain areas but its mostly alright in my opinion. The game also offers a lot of support systems for its fgrinding mechanics, there is always something to work towards for besides the tomomons themselves. Overall I was a bit skeptical the first hour or so, but afterwards the game clicked for me quite nicely. The presence of Fusions and a very large bestiary makes this game a very worthwhile addition to my collection. I will list a few downsides: -No swtiching mechanic, which limits a lot the variation…

Tomomon is a weird mix of pokemon and digimon. The creature evolve and typing like pokemon, and the 3v3 and alot of the terms are digimon-like. I liked the gamplay for the most part, 3v3 tactical strategy. Has Fusion and a house build system, but I didn't drive into that much. The creature designs look awesome. I do have a problem with it's pacing and story. Story is meh, like gave me Kingdom Hearts vibe in the beginning, then random events happen. The writing tries to be funny, and comes off very fanfictionish. Then there's the Bob wall, before the first "gym" there's a guy name Bob who has lvl 30 team with super high evasion, up to this point the trainers all have 20 or lower creatures and you need to beat him to progress. I ended up griding for hours to beat him, and the rest to the game was too easy afterward, untill the championship were you need a special team or find an anti-healthing move to even have a chance of beating the champion. It's not the worst creature collector out there, and tries alot of stuff.

Beautiful pixel art and lots of monsters to collect and fuse, but the combat is unbalanced and the game feels unfinished at times. If you just want to roam through different environments collecting and fusing creatures then this games gets the green light. Just know you'll go from fighting easy enemies to getting absolutely dropkicked across the room by a boss, and you'll encounter a few empty buildings along the way.

It's fun enough but the constent freeze is annoying. if you want to play this make sure you save often... so you won't lose all your progress when the game freeze. -would be nice if there was a setting to change the capture action to be use after my monster done their turn instead of doing it before theirs. -would also be nice if there was a mini map on screen that allow me to see where I'm at in the current area. maybe it's there after I progress with the story enough instead of exploring and filling up the ****dex. quite grindy. -our char dialogue after every tamer duel was very cringy, luckily the devs have enough sense to allow us to turn it off. sigh* maybe the game constant freeze was because my potato of a desktop was just too weak for this game.
