Top Down Racer is exactly the kind of simple racing game I can pick up without much preparation, and I found the straightforward design surprisingly addictive. The goal is simply to race through tracks as quickly as possible, beat my previous times and collect medals. I liked that the game does not try to turn this into a complicated racing simulator. It is all about speed, control and improving my performance. The top down perspective makes the controls easy to understand, but that does not mean the tracks are easy to master. I have to judge corners, avoid obstacles and keep my car moving efficiently if I want to set better times. I enjoyed replaying tracks because even when I know the layout, there is always room to take a corner slightly better or lose less speed. The variety of cars and track environments gives the experience some welcome variety. Different surfaces change the visual feel of the races, while the different vehicles give me some choice in how I approach the courses. "Top Down Racer" — увлекательная аркадная гоночка с видом сверху. Отличная отзывчивость управления, яркая графика и динамичные гонки на разных трассах. Простота механики делает её доступной для новичков, но отсутствие глубины может наскучить продвинутым игрокам. Несколько режимов и возможность соревноваться с друзьями добавляют вариативности. Мало карт и повторяющиеся уровни — главный минус. В целом, весело провести время, особенно в компании.

Pretty nice game overall. I find it a little bit addicting to be honest. Visuals are not wow or something but it has a classy style that I like (old-school-like).
