Get this game NOW. Digital Integration's 1993 Tornado, with 1995 Operation Desert Storm add-on, is a game that belongs in every flight simmer's Steam library. This is Digital Integration's gift to the flight sim community. Realistic navigation, combat avionics, well crafted campaign mode, and underlying solid game play makes it one of the best combat flight sim ever. If you are able to look past its dated graphics, and the fact that there is no shadow below the modelled GR1 and F1 Tornado, this is the best DOS Combat Flight Simulator out there. Still not convinced? Here are N reasons to change your mind. 1. OUTSTANDING ADVANCED MISSION PLANNER The AMP has remains unchanged for over 30 years. It is an amazing tool that allows you tio set up a 6-plne synchronised strike, with up to 15 waypoints! Back in 1993, it was the gold standard by which all current and future mission planners would be judged. AMP is a WHOLE game on its own. Planning a mission involves much thought and planning. Much like chess. Time spent playing Tornado could consist of an hour meticulously planning a 6-plane coordinated strike on a military target, followed by 15 minutes of game play. I've been playing this sim since it's release in the 90's. Awful graphics but this is back when imagination was a key part of the feeling of realism, but one of the best flight simulators you can get. full of tech and (dare I say it?) realism. Well worth the money. Don't expect that aeroplane to win in dogfights, but do expect it to outrun the enemy at low level! 10/10 would recommend.1 found this helpful

It's an older game for sure, but for me it's just nostalgia i like. Back in the day i played this a lot, so it's a known thing for me. In current time this looks very dated in all respects, but you'd be amazed how immersive this can still be. And the steam version comes with the Desert Storm addon, which is the thing im looking forward to the most. Have only been playing the stock game so far, again. And because i lost my skill and need training first.
