✦ AI summary

Touchdown Football Solitaire is a familiar +1/-1 solitaire experience with 200 levels, mini-games, and cosmetic customization that delivers solid value for casual players seeking a relaxing card game. Players appreciate the football theme, variety of content, and optional difficulty settings, but some find the challenge curve steep in later levels, with limited power-up effectiveness and repetitive mini-games (particularly the match-3) that can become tedious despite being skippable.

if you've played any solitaire developed by the revills games, this is more of the same. in fact, if you've played any +1/-1 kind of solitaire before, this is still more of the same, but it's not necessarily a bad thing. it's sports-themed once again, 20 locations with 10 levels each, plus 3 endless modes (freeplay, tripeaks and five peaks layouts), optional mini-games popping up while playing, and a bunch of power-ups to unlock. some passive, some active, and only four of the latter can be activated at any given time, but you can change them between levels. the graphics are of the usual quality, perfectly fine for a card game, with several card faces and backs to choose from, and it's fully voiced, as always. while nothing special or memorable, I even liked some of the music, but found the writing terrible. it's the same pun-based thing from home run solitaire (with the same commentators, in fact), but this time I ended up skipping most of it. all the usual settings are here, like windowed mode or separate volume sliders, including a newly-added one for speech, though the skippable intro that plays every time you start the game and the outro still won't shut up due to te…

Hi -- Do you love American Football (NFL ) & Solitaire then this game is for you ?? Pick a player, pick casual/timed -- then enjoy + lots of mini games well. I found each city/level was getting harder + no good power ups -- extra packs of cards or even wild cards to finish a section. There are 10 sections in each level -- I got to Level 7 -- there are 10 (?) levels. I just gave up & decided to play another game. Enjoy.

200 levels + mini games that can be skipped or deactivated completely. Decent selection of abilities to purchase, the usual 'locked' cards. Good value for the price.

7/10 Touch Down Football Solitaire is basically a re-skin of Revills' earlier game Home Run Solitaire, just replacing one sport with another (you can read my review of that title here: https://steamcommunity.com/id/frontman12/recommended/725170/). If you liked Home Run Solitaire (or this sort of +1/-1 Solitaire game in general), I feel confident in saying you'll like this game as well. You'll have the announcer Frank making puns about the names of the teams you're playing, seemingly the same number of levels, the same abilities, and almost the same mini-games appearing from time to time to break up the experience (three card monte, match 3, memory, etc.). However, I must say that I've gotten to where I absolutely hate the match 3 game and skip it every time. The grid of symbols is too small, in my opinion, and sometimes won't have enough of the symbol you need to match to be successful. Additionally, Touch Down Football Solitaire has the same issue with achievements tied to inferior abilities. However, this time around I purchased those abilities first (the shuffle and Ace-dropper) and used them every chance I could, and therefore shaved about 3 hours off of the time it took for…

A terrific solitaire game for fans of casual gaming who also enjoy football. The generic football theme and puns from the announcers are a nice touch and make this a very enjoyable game. There are different difficulty settings for all levels of players including casual. I recommend this game as a way to relax and unwind before calling it a night after you have watched football on TV all day. Thanks for the hours of enjoyment devs ! I will be picking up more of your solitaire games to try out as well.
