Touhou Farming ~ Minoriko's Homestead Harvest

SUPPORT THIS GAME!!! it is an amazing touhou farming simulator. The artwork is all very well done, and the designs are pretty unique!!! The gameplay is enjoyable and fun, combining some QoL and stardew valley-esque mechanics whilst introducing some new and original ideas makes the game stand out from your generic farming simulator games. Now i'd like to preface this that i'm not that far into the game yet, so if i edit my review, it probably means that new content has come out, my opinion has changed, or any other reason that my mind might have changed on some of these points THE COMBAT this is a farming Game / Danmaku hybrid, you spend your time mostly in your farm or in the village, but step outside those boundaries and you'll go on an adventure, the adventure sections allow for resource gathering and dodging bullets in a unique danmaku expirience (however, the difficulty of this is very beginner friendly and might be too easy for advanced schmup players) The Music The music in this game is wonderful, the main reason why i even picked this game up again is because the amount of music in this game made me curious to the amount of content that is actually in this game!…

Really enjoyed the game. I liked playing on the harder difficulty, it's not common a farming sim has a fail state, and the threat of that did motivate me to optimize my farm faster than I normally would. Not that hitting the seasonal goals is particularly difficult, there was plenty of margin for error. Which is good, as it gave me more time to engage with the characters and adventure zones. I really enjoyed the dialogue and characterization of the various girls (and Rinnosuke), the writing and animations are very good, and the jokes are funny. The adventure zones are pretty difficult at a lower faith level, though they do get much easier once you get more stamina and if you use buffs. Of course, hard mode makes it both hard again and more rewarding, which is nice. Looking forward to the full release, good luck.

A lovely take on take on Gensokyo, I really like these takes on the characters. It has a lot of really good art (I especially love the unique little idle animation a lot of the NPCs have), and the music is quite nice. Very good take on a fishing minigame btw. Oh and it is also quite lesbian, so thats an EASY 10/10.

Very solid farm sim set in the Touhou universe. You play as Minoriko Aki, the harvest goddess of Autumn, and you don't have any sort of character customization like other games of the genre. The characters are charming, and come from most of the entire history of the Touhou Windows era up to Unconnected Marketeers. It's nice seeing some of the newer and less popular characters rather than just the EoSD, PCB, IN, and MoF cast without many more (even though I do prefer those casts, I like seeing more than just them!). Tsukasa is such a terrible irredeemable jerk and such a fun character to see. The farming is solid, terrace crops are a neat mechanic, the Kappa generator and irrigation system is different, if a bit frustrating to make a good layout. In serious mode pests and events like droughts are really frustrating, and you need to spend a lot of resource to mitigate them; in casual mode most of the frustrating aspects can be ignored. I like the way tools are handled too, no need to deal with toolbars, though it did take a little to get used to switching between inventory items (for gifts and quest turnins) and tools on the controller. Really liked the game for it's funny dialogue, gameplay, artstyle, music and interaction, can't wait for the game to get the full release
