About TrainFormation
TrainFormation is a simple, fast-paced puzzle game created by one student as a university project. Place rails in front of an ever-accelerating train to cross procedurally generated levels, reach stations, collect power ups and make it as far as you can!
Swap hexagonal tiles to create a path for the train. Make sure to find the matching rails and terrain, or the train will not make it through!
Make it to a station and take a moment to breathe. Use specific rail tiles to collect power ups to help you in your toughest moments!
Reach new levels and face the difficult terrain. Hold on tight as the train continues to accelerate!

Free little simple game. Kind of fun.2 found this helpful
"TrainFormation" is a simple, genuinely made action puzzle game where you drag and drop hex tiles to ensure the train has a safe path to follow.. as quick as you can. Well, it works, it's not an asset flip, it's just not all that amazing in the big scheme of PC games. I feel like this is one of those games that would have done well on the mobile app stores. The graphics aren't great. That's understandably be turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's often nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is…1 found this helpful
Was fun. Felt like Snake & Tetris with the random blocks. A good trategy is to collect tiles by replacing ones you didn't use as the screen scrolls. Train finally detrailed when it tried entering a tile that hadn't been palced yet, and maintained that "tile not there" even though I placed one before it visually entered it. Really good music that loops nicely.
is really fun and exiting but verry tense at the same time its like tetris but with trains and grass and yea
Thought the game was a bit too slow and at the same time I was helpless to stay on track without powerups.
