Command a squad of survivors through a terrifying 1980s zombie outbreak in this tactical real-time strategy game built in the spirit of Commandos and Desperados. Team up with up to 3 friends in co-op mode to navigate horrifyingly detailed environments, set traps, and use creative tactics to survive the undead nightmare.
The story takes place in the early 80s in a small town names Hedge Hill near Kansas City, Missouri. The sowing of a new genetically modified type of corn caused the existence of a new virus which mutated through the natural food chain. A dog bite of an infected animal caused a local outbreak of the virus which rapidly infected the inhabitants of the idyllic provincial town. Mike and Gerald, two college boys, are thrown into the middle of a terrifying horror scenario. Having pulled over to a gas station near Hedge Hill during what was meant to be an enjoyable road trip, they are unaware of the virus which has already reached the gas station and its staff…

I somehow broke the inventory on my first go so i couldn't figure out what to do. Also why is the EXTREMELY long intro mandatory every time and cannot be skipped? ridiculous.1 found this helpful
Doesnt work on my machine, just crashes without starting. Seems a few other people have this issue with no fixes. Ryzen 7 5800xt RTX 5060ti 32gb
Unfortunately the game doesn't work. I assume the problem is that it was made more than 15 years ago and just doesn't work on a lot of modern computers. The problem is that the game crashes immediately when you start up and there doesn't seem to be a reliable fix for the problem.
Hmm, I am on the fence on this one. Interesting game, interesting concept but the controls made me rage couple of times. Are there better zombie games? Yes. Should you play this? Only if you really like to play niche zombie games.
Personally I ended up being pretty disappointed with this. The story and gameplay just aren't that great.
