I have never played a game in the same genre as Tribal Wars before, so i'm not sure what the industry standard is. But this might be the textbook definition of pay to win games. They're is zero fault for the actual gameplay in Tribal Wars. They quests the game gives you is the perfect tutorial for new players to understand how to grow your village. The events they hold are mostly fun and give great rewards for logging in daily. Fun little minigames that help you along in growth and strength. The problem I have is you can't compete with other players who have thousands of the premium currency. And while you can buy premium currency with actual money, the game gives you a super simple and easy to use avenue to getting them yourself. And that would be fine if it didn't carry over to new server and players couldn't use the PC to fast track their village from the very second a new world opens. A new player playing a new world will inevitably be outpaced by players who just pay to speed up resource gathering, building speed, and unit recruitment speed. Very old and bad and unfriendly and toxic and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ community. Everyone is super 20 old accounts. UI flooded with info. New players are going to get stomped like i got. Don't recomend to anyone ever.1 found this helpful
