The description of Trigger Dungeon tells you everything you need to know: it's a precision platformer with an emphasis on surprise traps (and thus rote repetition and memory skills). It does what it sets out to do, and the presentation is fairly decent. Definitely fodder for speedrunners and those with an affinity for precision platformers in general. My only real gripe was that I strongly disliked that platform collision rectangles often seem to have rounded edges, meaning you slide off them, even if it appears you should be able to stand on them. This could possibly be an intentional design decision, but certainly doesn't feel like it. Probably worth the price of admission if you're really into this genre. In some cases, I don’t know if this is a feature or a bug; when I touched one of the boxes, I was sent back several rooms. And when I died after solving a number of rooms, I was transported back to this one. Under normal conditions, dying has no consequence because you quickly respawn at the room's entrance. There is even a save feature that allows you to quit and continue next time. The sensation of movement is weird. It's quite simple to misjudge a jump or plummet over the edge because your cha…
