While on a casual trek across the universe, Billy D (our hero) and his two friends are enjoying their cruise through the cosmos, suddenly something goes terribly wrong. There has been an accident within the ship, and you crash-land on an unknown planet. Billy is separated from his friends, his mission is now clear, he must save his friends and get off the planet. Avoid all the obstacles that stand in your way and the patrolling guards as you collect the stars spread throughout each level. The journey will be filled with peril and death, Do you have what it takes to find your friends and escape from this place? Released and self-published on Feb. 14, 2019, by the developer Fase 9 Studios. It is an indie, action, adventure, 2D platformer. +Pretty tight controls which is EXTREMELY important in a platformer! +Nice graphics - Is there a story or did I miss something? - Would have preferred a seamless world instead of mini-levels which feels like a phone game. Overall worth the price? YES.

Pros + Amazing Graphics + Smooth Animations + Challenging levels with optional collectibles that allow completionist and explorer players to have some more fun + A game that doesn't waste your time. You'll probably die a lot, but respawning is very quick. + A hella lot of great platforming content for the price! + Strong Rayman Legends vibe, specially on the enemies Cons - Pretty nasty hitboxes. Sometimes enemy hits really don't feel like they should hit. In my opinion, enemy hitboxes should be smaller to give players a higher chance of survival - I'm sure I've watched a pretty awesome animated movie showing this game's story on YouTube. Why isn't it in the game?? - Instead of just "continue, restart and exit", it should have a "Next Level" option on the level's completion menu. This would allow players to advance even more quickly - Gamepad controls should be a little reworked. Moving the analog right makes you go right, that's fine, but moving the analog DOWN makes you go right, which should'nt happen. Definitely worth the price!

I saw the game and liked the art suddenly. Very very lovely designed sprites. Meccanics are clean, also the commands (tried it with xbox gamepad) are responding well. Game has a good challenge curve. The fact that the game is divided in many small levels, instead very long ones, makes sure that you do not need to start over from beginning when you die. I like it !

Trio is one enjoyable platform game. Has all the aspects that a platform lover likes. Good music and art, good and balanced game design dificulty. I'd like to know more about the background history, perhaps the developer can add some simple dialogs or cutscenes. Cant wait to play more levels and perhaps get some multi party puzzles :)

weird game but ok
