About Two Colours
Two Colours is a simple platformer with three, core concepts: you have to keep moving, you have to stay patient, and you can't lose your focus.
Combining the traditional elements of a platformer with the idea of certain platforms ping-ponging from being safe to stand on to being dangerous to stand on, Two Colours features 20 basic levels, 20 advanced levels, 20 keys to collect, and a secret to unlock at the end of the game.
As additional features unlock over the course of the game, making the game increase in difficulty as you progress, you must keep your focus. You primarily have two seconds to get onto and to get off of the red and blue platforms as they bounce back and forth from being platforms which you can stand on, and platforms which will kill you, as you try to reach the golden blocks to beat the level.
Don't lose your focus, don't lose your patience. Rushing is a sure-fire way to death and frustration.

"Two Colours" is one of literally thousands of retro 2D platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "platformers" on the Steam store page yields over 17,000 results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. This badly made minimalist puzzle/action platformer relies on a simple gimmick that's been done better by other developers elsewhere. Basically the background colour changes to indicate which platform surfaces are okay to touch (red for red, blue for blue). That's it, that's all there is to it. What a waste of $100 USD on Steam Direct. Platforming is an old, mostly dead genre, and this lacklustre experience, while it doesn't have an upfront cost, isn't saving the genre... it's no surprise this failed to capture any attention from gamers in the era of immersive 3D gaming. So this looks like an old 1990's Adobe Flash game that you might play in a web browser, and the problem there is obviously Steam wasn't intended to try compete with Chrome and Firefox. If it can be done in a web browser, it's not even close to a cutting edge PC gaming experience. That's a problem. This game …1 found this helpful
