U-ena -Far fireworks-

As a free visual novel, it features exquisite artwork and a compelling storyline. It is highly recommended.

I have no clue as to why they didn't write it as Yuena. When I first saw the English I thought that it was pronounced "Oo-ena." I can read some Japanese, but I would prefer an English translation. Eigo o onegaishimasu.

SPOILER WARNING I was looking for a visual novel to play in my spare time to learn Japanese, and I found this game U-ena, free of charge. This novel is also Hemiola Studio's first game, and I must say that as a first game it's not bad: the landscape and character designs are very nice and vivid, the backgrounds very colourful and although some are slightly anonymous they do their job. I really enjoyed the music and the OST in general, the accompanying music is very well done. The characters are quite characterised, and the expressions of the models very accurate, although the resolution of the latter is quite low. Unfortunately, there are some flaws in the storyline: I didn't quite understand why Hemiola Studio had to get involved with robots, aliens from other planets and the main character's childhood friend who somehow came back to life. The story does not hold up in many respects: how did Shiori come back to life? Who created the robot in which Shiori lives? For what reason? Why did it stop working at some point? Again: why did aliens have to attack the Earth? How come when aliens die they create these 'Fireworks'? How did Uena rebel against the orders of her superiors? Too ma…

Come in side for the must be the highest quality drawing I ever seen.

its 2024, still waiting for english version...
